After the Circuits Died: Electronic waste in art and theory
E-waste will be dumped in the V&A Museum. Four artists (Paul Granjon, Jonathan Kemp, Dani Ploeger and Madaleine Trigg) will work with the material for a day.
At 4pm the experiments will be presented at a round table session with cultural theorists Dr Toby Miller and Dr Neil Maycroft.
The art-science research network ‘Bodies of Planned Obsolescence: digital performance and the global politics of electronic waste’ and the social enterprise The Restart Project will join forces for a presentation at the Utopia Fair at Somerset House in London this weekend.
